More evidence that the US government lied to the American public about Havana Syndrome / Anomalous Health Incidents (AHIs) was disclosed by Michael Weiss on the The Bulwark podcast on 26 June 2025:
As the Biden administration was turning off the lights in the White House, they had a meeting at the NSC at which invited five, very well-known within the community, the intelligence community, victims of AHI, including Marc Polymeropoulos, a guy called, who's in the media as Adam or known as Patient Zero. He was one of the first victims hit in Havana, Cuba.
And the NSC meeting, they were brought into the Situation Room and told: You were right. You were right, meaning you were hit by a directed energy device. This is not some sociogenic or psychosomatic phenomenon. There is evidence that has now come through to the IC, including new collection, which substantiates the fact that possibly a foreign state actor, no points for guessing which one, is responsible for doing this to American servicemen and women abroad.
And more to the point, some of the members of the National Security Council at that meeting drafted an op-ed for the Washington Post, which was cleared and ready to go. The title of it was, We Believe Them, them referring to the victims. And at the last minute, Jake Sullivan spiked that op-ed from being published.

To the team @60Minutes - u matter. U honored the victims with this story. The truth. This episode was the beginning of the end of the USG gaslighting of the victims. Because at end of Biden admin I was invited to the White House SitRoom, and told by sr NSC staff- “u were right.”
